Deals offered Tuesday included 34% off Beats by Dre headphones, 50% off a TV stand and 59% off a kitchen sink. “By offering Black Friday value earlier, is enabling consumers to realize savings sooner and spread out the costs associated with the holidays – not to mention, spend more time with family and friends,” he says.

The fourth quarter of the fiscal year, when Black Friday and the holiday season falls, tends to be the most important to from a financial perspective. Last year, 29% of Overstock’s total revenue for the year came during the fourth quarter, a higher percentage than any other quarter during the year.
