E-retailer rounds out its management team

German luxury e-retailer, owned by Neiman Marcus Group Ltd., has hired a 14-year e-commerce veteran as a managing director.

Sebastian Dietzmann will work with president Michael Kliger and Jens Riewenherm, also a managing director, completing the management team, according to the company. “Sebastian Dietzmann is an e-commerce expert, and we’re thrilled to welcome him into the management team. His many years of e-commerce experience with international businesses make him ideal for helping us achieve our extraordinary global growth targets,” Kliger says.

Prior to joining, Dietzmann worked most recently as head of client services for Europe and APAC at eBay Enterprise, a provider of e-commerce technology owned by eBay Inc., No. 448 in the Internet Retailer 2015 Europe 500 Guide, carries more than 180 high-end brands of apparel, shoes and bags from such designers as Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo, Stella McCartney and Valentino. The e-retailer generated an Internet Retailer-estimated $11.26 million in web sales in 2014, according to data.

E-commerce operations started in rooms above the Theresa store in Munich and now run from a logistics center in Munich-Heimstetten that can deliver to more than 120 countries within 72 hours and to Germany and Austria in one to two business days, the company says., founded in 2006, was bought by luxury department store chain Neiman Marcus Group in September 2014. Neiman Marcus is No. 43 in the Internet Retailer 2015 Top 500 Guide.
