The first edition of the Top500Guide.com was introduced in 2009 as an electronic database that enabled users to access data and create custom reports on the largest online retailers ranked by their annual web sales. The completely redesigned Top500Guide.com features an even more comprehensive database and tools to access information and create an unlimited number of reports based on the criteria selected by each user.
The redesigned Top500Guide.com for the very first time features multiple years of data on 1,300 leading online retailing companies, including five years of data for Top 500 merchants and one year of data for up-and-coming web merchants ranked in the Second 500 and the 300 biggest business-to-consumer e-commerce sites ranked in the Top 300 Europe.

Other improvements let users run an unlimited number of reports and save and edit any report.
In addition to a faster, easier and more intuitive method of searching for data, the all-new Top500Guide.com also features even more comprehensive and detailed information. Across all of the guides—including for the first time full data on merchants ranked in the Second 500 and Europe Top 300—subscribers can access new metrics such as each Top 500 retailer’s search engine market share and updated data on sales, shopper demographic profiles, web site performance and other criteria.
