Hallmark Cards Inc. is getting personal with its online offerings.
The greeting card manufacturer and retailer just launched InkandMain.com, where consumers can personalize greeting cards with photos and text that Hallmark prints and ships in about two days.
The service will address and mail cards directly to the intended recipient—the consumer pays for the stamp—or ship them to the consumer who ordered them. Consumers can upload photos to create original cards, or customize the messaging, font and colors used in Hallmark-designed cards. Prices start at $1.99.
Ink & Main is being run by Feeln, a digital media subsidiary of the privately owned Hallmark Cards, No. 234 in Internet Retailer’s Top 500 Guide. Feeln also runs Feeln.com, a subscription-based service that streams family-friendly video content online. Subscriptions are $1.99 a month.
Hallmark also sells traditional greeting cards and gift items at Hallmark.com and e-cards at HalmarkECards.com. The company also operates HallmarkBusinessConnections.com, an e-commerce site aimed at businesses.
