Amazon, Overstock and Williams-Sonoma top January availability ratings

February 15, 2012 10:31 AM finished in first place among large retailers in January Internet Explorer availability tests, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, the retailer posted an availability score of 100% on Internet Explorer. and finished atop Firefox testing with 100% availability.

Three e-commerce sites—, and—tied for second for Internet Explorer tests with a score of 99.99% availability., and came next, tied at 99.98%. came in second place in Firefox testing with a 99.99% availability rating. Six retailers tied for third place with a score of 99.98%.

The average Internet Explorer availability for the 23 retailers measured in January was 99.89%, according to the Compuware Gomez Benchmarks study. The average Firefox availability for the same group of retailers last month was 99.90%.
